Lumina and Eclipse: Two New Extrait de Parfum from Zamaa Imperial

We've been known for oud and pure oils for a while now. This is something different.

Lumina and Eclipse are our first two spray perfumes, and they're both extrait de parfum concentration, which means they're built to last and built to perform. If you've been looking for a long-lasting Arabic perfume that works for both day and night, these were made with that in mind.

Lumina

Lumina is a floral perfume built around one idea: clean, radiant elegance. It's the kind of scent that feels effortless to wear but leaves an impression.

It opens with Rose and Freesia, fresh and light without being sharp. The heart is White Lily and Tuberose, which is where it gets its depth. The base settles into Precious Woods and Amber, keeping it warm and grounded rather than letting it go too powdery.

It's a good daily perfume who want something polished without being heavy. It also layers exceptionally well with our oud oils if you want to build something more personal.

Notes at a glance:

  • Opening: Rose, Freesia
  • Heart: White Lily, Tuberose
  • Base: Precious Woods, Amber

How to wear it: Spray on pulse points, the wrists, behind the ears, and the neck. The warmth of those spots helps the fragrance open properly and last longer on the skin.

Eclipse

Eclipse is harder to put in a box, which is part of what makes it interesting.

It's a floral woody perfume with a citrus opening, and it moves through its stages noticeably throughout the day. The Italian Mandarin and Pear at the top are bright and fresh. Then Bulgarian and Turkish Rose come through in the heart alongside North African Orange Flower, which gives it a warmer, more sensual quality than a typical fresh floral. The base of Sandalwood, Vanilla absolute, and Akigalawood brings everything back down to something warm and lasting.

It works well as a standalone scent but it's also the finishing layer in our oud layering guide, where it sits on top of Hindi oud oils and incense to balance out the weight of the wood. If you've tried layering Arabic perfumes before, Eclipse was partly designed with that use in mind.

It's a good perfume for day to night wear. The top notes carry the morning and the base carries the evening without needing a second application.

Notes at a glance:

  • Opening: Italian Mandarin, Bergamot, Pear
  • Heart: Bulgarian Rose, Turkish Rose, North African Orange Flower
  • Base: Sandalwood, Vanilla Absolute, Akigalawood

How to wear it: Apply to natural pulse points and let the skin do the work. It evolves over several hours so give it time before judging the dry down.

Both are available now. If you're not sure which one is right for you, Eclipse tends to suit people who already love oud and want something that bridges traditional and modern. Lumina suits those who prefer something cleaner and more classically floral.

Either way, both are worth trying in person before committing.
